Full Specifications
Pearson's quietest hydraulic chute is designed at every point to improve the experience for the operator and for the animal. Packed with upgrades over the Original unit, this chute is all about reducing stress on your cattle and helping you move them easily and efficiently. Comes with hydraulic head sweep, head gate, squeeze, and tailgate. Swing-arm control mount for operator comfort and preference.
Why do we say "true parallel" squeeze? Pearson engineered their squeeze chutes to hinge at the front and the rear of the squeeze section, for even side pressure along the length of the animal's torso. Not all parallel chutes operate in this same manner; some might instead choose to squeeze only in the rear, which can move the animal forward toward the gate as it squeezes. We're not saying that's a bad system design, we're simply choosing to highlight the difference.
What cattle sizes can it handle? This true-parallel chute opens to 30" wide to accommodate larger bulls and down to 9" to give operators precise control over their calves.
What floor type does it have? Pearson squeeze chutes come with full steel floors with heavy-duty plating as the standard. Your cows are walking on the same floor every time, not whatever mud happens to be underneath. Easy for cleaning.
Does this one have a vet/palp cage? A bolt-on palp cage is optional on the regular Prime chutes. A built-in cage is standard XL models, as shown.
What other access to the animal can it give me? Pearson's Prime chute access features are what makes them well-suited for vet or doctoring work. This chute offers full access to the animal, through the 50/50 branding gates up top and the 60/40 split doors below, with full side exits on both sides for emergency release. The standard neck door on each side has a viewing window. Louvers on both sides allow cattle to focus forward on the head gate instead of the workers around the chute, and are adjustable for the operator's sight when using the swing-arm hydraulic control.
Can I move it? Wheel kits are available for both the Prime and Prime XL chutes - $700.00.
Is it compatible with scales? Yes. This scale works with add-on scales as well as with EID readers for easy cattle logging while you work.
